Editor's note

PlaybackTimer is a stateless utility. The goal is reliable playback math, not user profiling or account expansion.

Minimal by design

PlaybackTimer works as a browser-first utility. The current version does not require account creation for core playback math, and the calculator inputs are intended to stay attached to the session in your browser rather than becoming a personal data workflow.

No registration

Core utility use does not require an email address, profile, or saved library.

Client-side logic

Duration and speed calculations are resolved in-page, not as an account service.

Data processing

Aggregate analytics

When analytics are enabled, PlaybackTimer may use high-level route and device measurement such as Google Analytics or Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand usage patterns, performance, and site health.

This data is handled in aggregate. The site is not designed as a personal profile product, and route-level monitoring exists to keep the public utility stable and readable.

Financial integrity

Data & payments

PlaybackTimer does not request, process, or store payment information in the current release. There are no billing forms, paid account gates, or financial workflows attached to the calculator.

The site also does not ask for a name, mailing address, or persistent identity to provide the core utility. If paid features or third-party monetization layers are introduced later, this policy should be updated before launch.

Secure infrastructure

Architectural logic

Browser-side sovereignty

PlaybackTimer's core math is designed to run locally in the page. Specific duration and speed values are processed in your browser, which keeps day-to-day timing decisions attached to your own session.

Basic server logs or technical diagnostics may still exist at the hosting layer for reliability and abuse prevention, but the product does not currently ask you to upload media, create a profile, or save a personal library.
